COVID-19 POLICY

In light of the recent variant, Kiva is avidly following the below safety protocols, as guided by the CDC, requiring the members to adhere to the following guidelines:

Mask-wearing male

Masks - Per the SB County Public Health Department's update on February 16th, fully vaccinated individuals are not required to wear masks in public. All unvaccinated individuals are encouraged to wear a mask or face covering when inside Kiva’s public areas.

Hand with scrubby wipe for sanitization

Cleaning - Kiva’s locations are cleaned and sanitized with disinfectant multiple times a week, to include all surfaces and high touch points. Maintaining hygienic work spaces is a top priority at Kiva.

Clean Air filtering

Air Quality - Kiva has invested in UV air purifiers in all locations. In conjunction with the HVAC system, these purifiers keep the air moving and clean, helping to eliminate potentially hazardous airborne particles.

Office Members - Kiva strongly recommends private office members keep their door closed while in the space to prevent close contact with other members.

Sanitation Stations - Kiva has stations throughout all locations, to include the widespread availability of hand sanitizer, spare masks, and disinfectant wipes. Kiva encourages members to both utilize these protective supplies as needed, while washing and sanitizing their hands frequently.

Spaced out chairs for social distancing

Socially Distanced Workstations - In conjunction with the CDC’s guidelines, Kiva has spaced workstations in both locations to give members plenty of room between each other.

Attention symbol

Signage - Kiva has clearly marked signage throughout the space to communicate these protocols and keep our members safe and productive.
